Congress Alleges of Massive Vote Rigging in Nuapada

(FM News):-- Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhakta Charan Das on Tuesday accused the Election Commission (EC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of colluding to “steal” the Nuapada bypoll.

He alleged that massive vote rigging has taken place at various places in Nuapada assembly constituency , with the full misuse of police force.

The congress leader went on to claim that at the Jitamitra High School booth in Komana, a woman's vote was cast by someone else, so the presiding officer prevented her from voting.

The PCC President has further claimed that In the middle of the Sunabeda jungle, a booth was surrounded by a police team from the BJP. People were being herded in by waving flags, but when the Congress agent tried to stop them, the police threatened, saying, "Just watch quietly what we're doing; don't protest at all," according to reports.

"Under a single plan, police have been conducting voting in all interior areas. At one location in Khadiyal, photos of Narendra Modi, Mohan Majhi, and Dholkia were pasted inside the booth premises, and cutouts were being distributed",he alleged.
