Rahul Gandhi : PM Modi is compromised, foreign policy has become the Centre's personal policy

NEW DELHI: Amid the West Asia crisis, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP over the Modi government's foreign policy.

He said that India's foreign policy is compromised today because PM Modi himself is compromised.

Modi only does what America and Israel want him to do. Modi can never take decisions in India's interest — and this is clearly visible.

Rahul Gandhi said: "Our foreign policy has become the personal policy of the Central government. Now it has become like a universal joke. If our Prime Minister is compromised, then the foreign policy is also compromised. What is our position? People will suffer because of it. This is just the beginning. There will be problems in everything. Whatever America and Israel say, Prime Minister Modi will say the same."

Meanwhile, Congress MP Imran Masood said: "When Prime Minister Modi was speaking in Parliament, it felt like some news anchor was talking. Even news anchors on TV are giving more information than him. Reports are coming that Pakistan is trying to mediate. A country that promotes terrorism is mediating, and we are not doing anything."

It may be noted that 25 days after the war began between America-Israel and Iran, PM Modi has called an all-party meeting on Wednesday to discuss the West Asia crisis. Earlier today, while speaking on the issue in Rajya Sabha, PM Modi said that countrymen should be prepared for every challenge; if this war continues, serious adverse consequences may be seen.
