'Open the Strait of Hormuz Within 48 Hours or We Will Destroy Your Power Plants': Trump's Open Threat to Iran

(Fast Mail):-- US President Donald Trump has threatened that if Iran does not fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, the United States will target Iranian power plants.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, "If Iran does not fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours—without any threats—the United States will attack and destroy their various power plants, starting with the largest facility."

Earlier, Trump had urged US allies and major global economies to take responsibility for the security of this critical maritime route, while dismissing calls for a ceasefire in the conflict involving Iran.

Trump told reporters, "We do not use the Strait of Hormuz; the United States does not need it. Europe, Korea, Japan, and China need it, so they must get involved."

Trump described the reopening of the strait as "a simple military exercise," although he acknowledged that it would require coordination and extensive effort. He said, "It is relatively safe, but it requires a lot of assistance. You need ships; you need a large number of troops. NATO has not yet shown the courage to take action."

Trump also called upon partners in the Indo-Pacific region, such as South Korea and Australia, to play a more active role, expressing surprise at their reluctance.

Furthermore, Trump made it clear that, despite growing international calls, the US would not halt its military operations. "You cannot have a ceasefire when you are almost completely destroying the other side; we have no intention of doing so."

Trump further claimed that Iran's military capabilities have been significantly weakened. He said, “They have no navy, no air force, and no anti-aircraft weapons. All their leaders, at every level, have been killed. This indicates that the campaign is nearing its objectives.”
