'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' breaks box office records and Haryana police crack down on Badshah's 'Tattiri' song

  • MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt's film 'Dhurandhar:The characters in the film are winning fans' hearts, while commercially, the movie has shaken the box office completely.
The film has crossed the ?750 crore mark in just four days, surpassing the collections of films like 'Jawan', 'Pathaan', and 'Baahubali'.According to official collections shared by Aditya Dhar's company B62 Studios, the film collected ?145 crore on the first day (including paid previews), ?83 crore on the second day, ?117 crore on the third day, and ?121 crore on the fourth day. In total, it has collected ?466 crore in India.

Overseas, the film has also performed well, earning ?211 crore. Overall, in just 4 days, the film has grossed a total of ?761 crore worldwide.The film has broken even Baahubali's total earnings record in just 4 days. According to Sacnilk, Baahubali had a total collection of ?650 crore (including global collections), but 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has demolished those figures in merely 4 days.(Note: These figures appear to be from producer-reported or early estimates shared in media around the film's release on March 19, 2026.

 

Independent trackers like Sacnilk, Bollywood Hungama, and Pinkvilla report varying but similarly massive numbers, with worldwide gross nearing or crossing ?750-760 crore in the opening period, confirming its record-breaking run as one of the biggest openers in Bollywood history.)Regarding Badshah's 'Tattiri' song, Haryana Police have taken strict action amid controversy over its lyrics, which have been accused of being objectionable and objectifying women.

FIRs have been registered in multiple districts (such as Panchkula and Jind), and the Haryana State Commission for Women has directed police to arrest the rapper after he failed to appear before them. Authorities are also seeking a Look Out Circular (LOC) to prevent him from leaving the country.
