(Fast Mail):-- Congress hits back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi; on Monday, asking him that he should tell who among senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders — Lal Krishna Advani and Jaswant Singh — had praised Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posted on ‘X’: Allegations of appeasement are being made against Pandit Nehru. But will the Prime Minister, who is an expert in twisting and distorting history, answer these questions?”
He said:“Which Indian leaders were they who, in the early 1940s, formed a coalition government in Bengal with the very person who had moved the Pakistan Resolution in Lahore in March 1940?
Answer: Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.”Ramesh further stated:
“Which Indian leader was it who openly praised Jinnah in Karachi in June 2005?
Answer: Lal Krishna Advani.
Which Indian leader was it who praised Jinnah in his book published in 2009?
Answer: Jaswant Singh.”
