India Summons Pakistani High Commissioner, Issues Formal Persona Non Grata Note
Following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India has taken stringent actions with has summoning Pakistan's diplomat.
India has handed over a formal Persona Non Grata note to Pakistan's military diplomats. It may be noted that a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was held on Wednesday, during which India made five major decisions.

The Pahalgam terrorist attack claimed 26 lives. Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the attack site on Wednesday and later returned to Delhi. India summoned Pakistan’s top diplomat, Saad Ahmad Warraich, in Delhi and issued a formal Persona Non Grata note to Pakistan’s military diplomats. This step was taken amid strained relations between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that, in view of the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, the central government has called an all-party meeting today, Thursday. The meeting is likely to be held at 6 PM in the Parliament Annexe. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will lead the meeting, during which the government will brief the opposition about the Pahalgam attack.
