PM Modi asking votes for a 'mass rapist': Rahul Gandhi
He said that the Prime Minister was supporting that mass rapist and asking votes for him. Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and every leader of BJP should apologize to every woman of the country for this sin.
Addressing an election rally in Shivamogga, Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Modi, saying he should apologize to the women of India for appealing to them to vote for a "Mass Rapist".
He alleged that sitting MP from Hassan Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka and Janata Dal Secular (JD-S) leader Prajwal Revanna has raped 400 women. He also demanded an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for appealing to people to vote in favor of Prajwal.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that the Prime Minister should apologize to the mothers and sisters of the country.
Rahul Gandhi said,”Prajwal Revanna has raped 400 women and made their video. This is not a sex scandal but mass rape”.
Rahul Gandhi said that when the Prime Minister asks all the women of Karnataka to vote, they should know what Prajwal did? The Prime Minister supported a grave criminal from the stage in Karnataka.
“Modi said in Karnataka that if you vote in favor of the rapist, it will help me. The Prime Minister has insulted every woman of India.Every BJP leader knew that Prajwal was a 'gross miscreant' and yet supported him and formed an alliance with JDS. He said that no world leader has appealed to vote in favor of a such a ‘evil person'. He said, “There is news all over the world that the Prime Minister appealed to vote in favor of a grave criminal. This is the ideology of BJP. They are ready to form alliances and do everything for power.”
Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister and top JDS leader HD Deve Gowda, is facing charges of sexually exploiting women.
The state government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate this entire episode. Several obscene videos of 33-year-old Hassan MP Prajwal have gone viral in recent times. As soon as this matter came to light, Prajwal left the country. Prajwal is the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha seat where voting was held on April 26. BJP and JDS had formed an alliance in September last year.
