Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles, Widespread Devastation In Israel

  • Israel Claims Attacks on Iran's Nuclear Project and Gas Field

TEHRAN/TEL AVIV : The conflict between Iran and Israel is escalating, with conditions resembling a full-scale war. Last night, both nations exchanged missile barrages once again. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed they targeted Iran’s Defense Ministry headquarters and sites linked to its "nuclear weapons project."

Iran have  launched missiles at targets across Israel, including the cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv, killing at least eight people, according to reports.

Early Sunday, Iran launched a barrage of missiles, firing 50 ballistic missiles at Israel. Several missiles struck Israeli territory, causing widespread devastation. Horrific images of destruction in Israel have surfaced.

During the Iranian attacks, sirens blared across multiple regions of Israel. The IDF confirmed on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Iran had launched several missiles toward Tel Aviv, adding that their defense systems were intercepting them. The IDF also advised residents of northern and central Israel to remain in shelters.

Iran’s military stated, "Operation True Promise has officially entered its next phase. We are systematically dismantling the Zionist regime’s capacity to perpetrate massacres and spread terror in West Asia and globally."

According to Iranian news agency IRINN, air defense systems were activated in Tabriz and Isfahan due to Israeli attacks. Iran reported that production at one of the world’s largest gas fields was partially suspended following Israeli strikes.

Vowing to continue attacks on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Israel would target every Iranian site and objective.

In a video message to citizens, he declared, “You will see Israeli Air Force planes in the skies over Tehran.” This followed Israel’s launch of Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure in cities like Natanz, Isfahan, and Tehran.

Iraq has appealed to the United States to prevent Israeli aircraft from using Iraqi airspace for attacks on Iran. Japan’s Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba condemned Israel’s strikes on Iran, calling them “completely unacceptable.”
