Iran launches new attacks on Israel and Gulf countries, threatens Trump too

TEHRAN(Iran):--Iran, on Tuesday, carried out new attacks on Israel and Gulf countries as part of its policy to exert pressure. This war has caused a surge in oil prices and is creating difficulties for global economies.

In the morning, missile attack warning sirens sounded in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Bahrain, while Saudi Arabia stated that it destroyed two drones in its oil-rich eastern region.

Kuwait's National Guard said it shot down six drones. Later in the morning, sirens also sounded in Jerusalem, and sounds of explosions were heard in Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote in a challenging tone on 'X': "We are certainly not seeking a ceasefire. We believe that a punch should be landed on the aggressor's face so that he learns a lesson and never thinks of attacking our dear Iran again."

In addition to missile and drone attacks on Israeli and American bases in the Gulf region, Iran is also targeting energy infrastructure and strengthening its grip on the Strait of Hormuz, causing oil prices to skyrocket.

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that the war against Iran could be short-term, but he also warned that if the Islamic Republic disrupts global oil supplies, the fight could intensify.

Due to this war, the supply of oil and gas in world markets has been disrupted, and fuel prices have risen across the United States.

Iran has effectively prevented tankers from using the Strait of Hormuz, the navigational route between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, the gateway to the Indian Ocean, through which 20 percent of the world's oil is transported.

Trump warned on Tuesday via a social media post: "If Iran takes any step to stop the flow of oil in the Strait of Hormuz, America will launch attacks on it twenty times more forcefully than before."

In direct response to Trump's comments published in Iranian state media, Revolutionary Guard spokesman Ali Mohammad Naeini said, "Iran will decide when to end the war."

Meanwhile, a top Iranian security official has threatened US President Donald Trump through a social media post.

Larijani wrote, "A sacrificial nation like Iran is not afraid of your hollow threats. Those bigger than you could not eliminate Iran. Be careful, lest you yourself get eliminated."

Ali Larijani made this post on 'X' on Tuesday after Trump threatened Iran that if Tehran stopped the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, he would launch "twenty times more" severe attacks on Iran.

After the killing of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has been chosen as his successor. Kamal Kharazi, foreign policy advisor to the Supreme Leader's office, told 'CNN' on Monday that Iran is prepared for a long war.

He said that until economic pressure prompts other countries to intervene and stop American and Israeli aggression against Iran, he sees no scope for diplomacy.
