Major administrative reshuffle in Bihar, 41 IAS officers transferred

 PATNA: The Bihar government has transferred 41 IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle. According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department late Saturday night, most of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers who have been transferred are District Magistrates (DMs) of various districts.

According to the notification, Bhojpur District Magistrate Raj Kumar has been made the Managing Director of Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (Comfed), while Shivhar DM Pankaj Kumar has been appointed as Director (Primary Education) in the Education Department.

 

 According to the notification, Director of Mines and Geology Department Mohammad Nayyar Iqbal has been transferred to the Food and Consumer Protection Department as Special Secretary. At the same time, Jamui DM Rakesh Kumar has been appointed Director (Consolidation) in the Directorate of Land Records and Survey.

Director (Midday Meal) in the Education Department Mithlesh Mishra has been made the DM of Lakhisarai, while Deputy Director in Panchayati Raj Department Vidyanand Singh has been appointed Director in the Planning Department.

Begusarai DM Roshan Kushwaha has been made the DM of Samastipur. At the same time, Sheikhpura DM J Priyadarshini has been appointed as the Director in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
