NEET UG 2025 Results Declared: Rajasthan’s Mahesh Keswani Tops, Madhya Pradesh’s Utkarsh Avadhiya Secures Second Place

(Fast Mail):--  The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the NEET-UG medical entrance examination. Rajasthan’s Mahesh Keswani secured the top position, while Madhya Pradesh’s Utkarsh Avadhiya came in second. Among girls, Delhi’s Avika Agarwal topped, achieving the 5th rank nationally.

Out of the total 22.09 lakh candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam, over 12.36 lakh passed. However, this number is lower than last year’s 13.15 lakh successful candidates, when the total number of examinees was over 23.33 lakh.

Maharashtra’s Krishang Joshi and Delhi’s Mrinal Kishor Jha secured the third and fourth positions, respectively. Among girls, Delhi’s Avika Agarwal topped, securing the 5th rank nationally.

 

 The highest number of successful candidates are from Uttar Pradesh (over 1.70 lakh), followed by Maharashtra (over 1.25 lakh) and Rajasthan (over 1.19 lakh).

The NTA conducts NEET annually for admissions to medical colleges. There are a total of 1,08,000 seats available for MBBS courses, with approximately 56,000 in government hospitals and around 52,000 in private colleges.

NEET results are also used for admissions to undergraduate courses in dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha.
