Sonepat: More than 200 people complained of vomiting and diarrhea

Sonipat, Mar 23, (Fast Mail News):-- The condition of more than two hundred women, men and children has deteriorated on Thursday due to consumption of samak and kuttu flour in many settlements of Sonipat city. Model Town, Indira Colony, Old DC Road There have been more complaints of vomiting and diarrhea in life. People have reached Government Civil Hospital and private hospitals.

 

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, CMO Dr. Jaikishore along with the entire team of Health Department is engaged in handling the situation since Thursday morning. In Indira Colony, on Wednesday evening, on the first day of Navratri, the health of the couple and their two children had worsened after eating samak flour. The family had taken him to the hospital due to vomiting and diarrhoea. The family, the couple and the children were admitted to a private hospital in Model Town, where all four are undergoing treatment. According to the doctor, everyone's condition is out of danger.

 

By morning, more than one hundred people reached the civil hospital in Sonipat. More than one hundred people are being told to be admitted in a private hospital. Most of those who reached the civil hospital are residents of Old DC Road and Jeevan Nagar areas. Patients coming to the civil hospital have been discharged after first aid.

 

Here, Sonipat Deputy Commissioner Lalit Siwach says that the administration is fully alert. A team of CMO and FDA has been constituted. All the patients are doing well so far and the condition is stable.
