Ahmednagar: Four killed, 11 injured in truck-tempo collision

Mumbai, Mar 23, (Fast Mail News):-- Four people were killed and 11 injured in a collision between a truck and a tempo in Kamargaon Shivara area on the Pune Highway in Ahmednagar district. In this incident, all the injured have been taken to the government hospital in Ahmednagar. Police is investigating this accident.

According to police, 16 people from Chincholi More village in Shirur tehsil of Ahmednagar district had gone to Shanisinganapur Devdarshan on Wednesday. In the early hours of Thursday, all these people were returning home in a tempo after having devdarshan. Suddenly a truck coming from Pune hit his tempo near Kamgargaon on the Ahmednagar-Pune highway. It is said that the speeding truck driver lost control and the truck collided with the tempo. In this incident Rajendra Salve, Vijay Avachitte, Dhiraj Mohite, Mayur Salve died on the spot. The injured have been taken to the government hospital in the city.
