Arvind Kejriwal has moved the Supreme Court against the High Court's decision in the liquor scam. On Tuesday, the Delhi Chief Minister's plea against the arrest and subsequent ED remand was rejected.

In its decision dismissing the petition, Delhi High Court said that the material collected by this ED shows that Arvind Kejriwal had hatched a conspiracy. Apart from this, on Kejriwal's claim of Raghav Magunta and his father giving money to BJP, the court said that it is not the job of this court to see who gives tickets to whom to contest elections or who gives election bonds to whom.

After the High Court rejected Arvind Kejriwal's petition, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said that he hopes that the Supreme Court will give relief to Kejriwal in the same way as it had recently given bail to AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh. Bhardwaj said that we respect the High Court, but we respectfully say that we do not agree with its order.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in the money laundering case related to Delhi liquor scam. The Enforcement Directorate had arrested Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal for ignoring several summons. CM Kejriwal is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail in judicial custody till April 15.
