Bihar: Rajesh Ram targets BJP and JDU, says - BJP has put Nitish Kumar under ‘digital arrest’

(Fast Mail):--Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee President Rajesh Ram said on Monday that the news of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar going to the Rajya Sabha came as no surprise to Congress, as it was already decided.

He alleged that the current government in Bihar was formed through "vote theft" and that the BJP has been continuously conspiring behind the scenes to remove Nitish Kumar.

Addressing a press conference at the provincial Congress headquarters Sadaqat Ashram on Monday, Rajesh Ram said that the BJP has now put Nitish Kumar under “digital arrest.”

The Congress leader said that the Nitish Kumar who always fought for socialist ideology has now handed over that fight to the BJP and has compromised on the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Rajesh Ram questioned what compulsion is there that Nitish Kumar is not even moved by the tears of his own workers and people's representatives.

The state Congress president alleged that the BJP's politics has been to weaken and eliminate allied parties.

He said that just as the BJP took along Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and later weakened the original Shiv Sena, similarly the Shiromani Akali Dal was also weakened.

The Congress leader alleged that the BJP broke the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar and adopted a strategy to gradually eliminate several regional parties, including Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

Rajesh Ram said that the BJP's history has been to first take allies along and then eliminate them later.

He said that the alliance between BJP and Janata Dal (United) in Bihar is completely mismatched and is against the interests of the people.

He said that the BJP is now applying the same strategy to other allied parties as well, and in the coming times, the next target could be Andhra Pradesh leader Chandrababu Naidu.
