BJP's slogan of '400 Paar' is arrogance,it's an insult to mandate : Anand Sharma

KANGRA:Anand Sharma, Congress candidate from Kangra seat of Himachal Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections, takes a dig at BJP's election slogan '400 Paar'.

Anand Sharma said that BJP's slogan of '400 Paar' is not just an election slogan, but it is an insult to the voters and the mandate. The people of Himachal Pradesh and the country will take revenge of this insult.

“BJP is going to get its answer on June 4. Congress government will be formed on June 4”he said.

Sharma said during the road show in Raihan that he is getting love from the people. There is enthusiasm among the youth for Congress. The party has got a lot of success due to the election campaign that has taken place. Congress party is getting full support. The public is excited for the Congress Party.

On Union Home Minister Amit Shah's claim of '400 Paar', Anand Sharma said that this is his ego. This is an insult to the mandate. “This is an insult to the voters. Voting is going on right now. The seventh phase of voting is on June 1. The results will be announced on June 4. After this it will become clear that Congress government is going to be formed”,he said.

The senior Congress leader said that when he was a minister in the Manmohan Singh government, he created big institutions in many areas of Himachal Pradesh. Never thought that he would come here to contest elections, in such a situation the institutions opened during his time themselves testify to his commitment. The Congress government of the state has fulfilled the promises made in the assembly elections including giving OPS, Rs 1,500 per month to women.
