Former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal merged with Panchtatva

Chandigarh, Apr (Fast Mail News):-- The mortal remains of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal merged with the five elements on Thursday. Badal died on April 25 at Fortis Heart Hospital in Mohali.

 

Badal's mortal remains were kept at his native Badal village on Wednesday night. Where thousands of people paid tribute to him. Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda, Nationalist Congress Supremo Sharad Pawar, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Haryana Congress Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda, Haryana to pay tribute to Badal Former Chief Minister of Punjab Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Leader of Opposition in Punjab Legislative Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa, Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading, Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala, Haryana Power Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh, Speaker of Punjab Legislative Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwa, Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit, Punjab cabinet minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee President HS Dhami, Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma, National Secretary Tarun Chugh and representatives of various political parties reached village Badal today.

After the last darshan, Badal's body was taken to the cremation ground set up at his farm house. On the way, thousands of people stood on the streets and bid their last farewell to Badal. Here a contingent of Punjab Police gave him a guard of honour. After this, Parkash Singh Badal's son Sukhbir Badal, grandson Anantveer Badal, nephew Manpreet Badal lit the fire.
