Kumar’s Perseverance Led Congress To Improve Tally In Odisha
BHUBANESWAR:Despite all negative situation during the recent elections congress has made remarkable stride in securing five more seats than in 2019 in Odisha. Thanks due to able stewardship of Odisha congress in-charge Dr. Ajoy Kumar.
As per the election result congress secured 14 seats now as against nine seats in last elections. Some critics even predicted less seats than before. But Dr Kumar has proved them false .
Despite all odds Kumar steered the congress party well from the distribution of tickets and campaigning by which the result has been very encouraging. This result has given a new fillip to the spirit of congress men in the state who are now eyeing to secure majority in upcoming elections in 2029.
The favorable result shows proved the successful leadership of Dr. Kumar who took charge of Odisha at right time. His interaction with the media frequently on all issues had exposed the wrong doings of both BJP and BJD. Even the congress campaign in coastal area of Basudebpur Ashok Das could win the election baffling the psephologists.
Dr Ajay Kumar, All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for Odisha who had an illustrious career in police service, used all his analytics in Odisha to bring the party on track.
He had alleged that the BJD had been hijacked by non-Odias and exhorted his own party workers to save the state from their clutches.
Shunted out of power in the state in 2000, the Congress had never been able in successive elections to put up a strong fight against the ruling BJD, largely because of so many reasons. However,Dr. Ajoy Kumar has been able to carry along all the leaders of the party with him.
Equally the credit has gone to able and dynamic leadership of PCC President Sarat Pattnayak who steered the whle election very proficiently all the time .His able guidance has managed not only retain the set share but also improved it.Congress votes in the state has also upward during this election.
The role by the media department chairman, Dr. Biswaranjan Mohanty along with his entire team, his interactions with media frquently too exposed the wrong doings of BJD and BJP.The social media department led by Amiya Pandav gave an impact and have become the essential ground for the discussion of political narratives.
Media department chairman Dr. Biswaranjan Mohanty said,"From morning to night, most of the people glued to their smartphones checking Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Linkedin, and YouTube everywhere at home, office, while travelling, in public transports and roads anywhere checking latest videos fr,news contents from congress. With the increase of addiction of Internet, social media emerged as the best mode of communication during elections".
