Naveen Patnaik Says His BJD TO Go Solo In 2024

 BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced that his BJD party will not go with the opposition for the 2024 national election.The party will go it alone and that plan has always been the same.

The Chief Minister met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi last evening and called it a "courtesy call". He said media persons that  BJD always maintain its "equidistant" stance.

 

 

 The 76-year-old veteran politician has always been supporting the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) or the Congress.

Naveen Patnaik's announcement is a blow to Nitish Kumar's efforts to set up head-to-head contests against the BJP across India in 2024 .
