Pradhan laid foundation for permanent campus of KV in Athmallick
ANGUL: Athmallick is a frontal area in the field of education. With an aim to keep up the tradition and under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a Kendriya Vidyalaya has been opened in Athamallick to boost education along with agriculture.
This was stated by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan while dedicating the temporary campus and laying the foundation stone of the permanent campus of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Athmallick. Besides this,Pradhan has laid the foundation stone and inaugurated a series of infrastructure projects by the Odisha government worth rupees 139 crore.
He said rupees 30 crore will be spent for the permanent campus at Tangianisha.He said the beginning of a Kendriya Vidyalaya had been the longstanding demand of Athmallick people.He thanked prime minister Modi for fulfilling this long standing demand of Athmallick people.He hoped that rupees 139 crore worth projects in Athamallick will immensely benefit the people.
Pradhan said under the double engine government both agriculture and irrigation will be prioritized in Athmallick. Piped water will reach every house of the region and tourism will be developed in Athmallick very soon.
He said this will change the lives of the farmers. The minister also said besides developing agriculture children will get value-based and skill education. He promised the people that development of the region is their responsibility.
Dhenkanal MP Rudra Narayan Pany,MLA Ashok Mohanty,Nalini Pradhan among others were present in the public meeting.
