Three missing students from Rasol rescued from Chandikhol
The three rescued students cannot tell police and welfare officials as to why they left school in the afternoon on Wednesday.Police also so far not able to extract the reason stating that it is under investigation.
On being informed last night,a police team from Rasol rushed to Chandikhol and rescued the missing children.They were produced at the child welfare committee of Dhenkanal.After that they were handed over to their parents, according to Rasol police in charge BB Mishra.
Mishra said,on Wednesday afternoon while sports event was going on in Chila Taila ashram school,these three students managed to flee the school campus and rushed to nearby road.There they found a truck was parking and they boarded on the truck.The truck driver without noticing them drove up to his destination to Chhatia of Jajpur district.When the truck was stopped,these three students were noticed and people gathered.How ever,some non-odia railway labourers thook these three along with them to their colony at Chandikhol. There they stayed up to Friday when the older student, aged 11, managed to recall his mother’s mobile number and informed the labourers.The labourers contacted their mother who in turn informed Rasol police.Police have last night rescued the students.
These three students of Ashram school had gone missing from Wednesday afternoon.A missing report was filed by the parents of the children and police has registered a case under Juvenile protection Act.
The district welfare officer Rudra Parija said,the students so far not divulged the reason for their going out of the school.The school has around 60 adivasi students who come from different parts of the districts. There are around 38 ashram schools in the districtd,he added..
