Revanth Reddy,the CM-designate meets Kharge

NEW DELHI: Revanth Reddy, who is going to be the new Chief Minister of Telangana, met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday. After being elected leader of the Congress Legislature Party, Revanth Reddy reached Delhi today and met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence.

Congress shared the photo of the meeting of the two leaders on Twitter and wrote that Chief Minister-designate of Telangana and State Congress President Revanth Reddy met Congress President Kharge and congratulated him on the victory of the Congress party in the state.

Congress sources say that Revanth has come to invite the Congress President for his swearing-in ceremony. The cabinet will also discuss the issue with the high command.

On Tuesday evening, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, while announcing the name of Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister of Telangana, had said that Telangana Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy has been elected the leader of the party's legislature party. He will take oath on 07 December.
