Six terrorist attacks in 7 months in Jammu and Kashmir : Congress
NEW DELHI: The Congress on Tuesday targeted the central government after the four soldiers martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.The party has claimed that six terrorist attacks in seven months reject all the claims of the government.
Congress media department chief Pawan Khera has said that the country now wants answers on this issue.
Four army personnel, including an officer, who were seriously injured in an encounter with heavily armed terrorists in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, died in the early hours of Tuesday.
Officials said that the soldiers of the Rashtriya Rifles and the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint cordon and search operation in Dhari Gote Urbagi of Desa forest area late Monday evening after which the encounter started.
Khera posted on the social media platform 'X' and said, "Bad news of another terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir was received early in the morning. Four brave soldiers and one officer were martyred.''
He said, ''Six terrorist attacks in seven months belie all the claims of the government. The country wants answers. The country cannot be run only by slogans.''
