Will not oppose Shahrukh Khan's film 'Pathan', says Vishwa Hindu Parishad
The movie 'Pathan' is being shown in cinema halls across the country from today. But in many parts of the country, the opposition continues. A day before the release, its poster was torn and burnt outside a cinema hall in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The youths of Hindu organizations tore the posters in the cinema hall and set them on fire and raised slogans of 'film chalega, hall jalega'.
Members of the Hindu organization said, "Hinduism cannot be compromised. Any element that opposes Sanatan culture will not be tolerated in Bhagalpur, including the whole of India. If Pathan is shown in any cinema in Bhagalpur, then It will be strongly opposed."
In Agra also, the activists of the right-wing organisation Hindu Mahasabha, who are opposing the film 'Pathan', threw ink on the posters of the film and tore them in Agra on Tuesday. Hindu Mahasabha leader Sanjay Jat said that the organization will not allow the screening of the film 'Pathan' at any cost.
Bajrang Dal said that we oppose the film. The police said that activists of the right-wing organization reached several theaters today and threw ink on the posters of the film and tore them. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and removed them from there.
