BJP-RSS's Idea of one language, one leader is insulting to the people

WAYANAD:Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is once again contesting from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala.Today in Wayanad, while addressing the public, made a scathing attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and BJP. Rahul's road show took place in Sultan Bathery, Wayanad. Rahul was seen sitting on the open roof of a car and greeting the public.

Rahul Gandhi said that it is an insult to the people to think that there should be only one leader in India. He said that we did not get independence from the British only to become a colony of RSS ideology. He said that Congress wants to listen to Indians, love and respect their beliefs, language, religion and culture.

Rahul Gandhi said that in today's time the main fight is against the ideology of RSS. BJP people, the Prime Minister, say that one nation, one people, one language, one leader… He said that language is not something that can be imposed on anyone. Language is something that comes from within a person, from his heart.

Rahul Gandhi said that telling any person from Kerala that your language is inferior to Hindi is an insult to the people of Kerala. The ideology that there should be only one leader in India is an insult to every young Indian.

According to the information, today Rahul will also address a farmers rally in Pulpally. Congress sources say that Rahul may also take out road shows in Mananthawadi, Vellamunda and Padinjaratara.

Rahul Gandhi is expected to hold a meeting with the Bishop of Mananvatwadi, which is important from the political point of view in view of the recent controversy over the screening of the film The Kerala Story by some churches.

Rahul Gandhi is campaigning vigorously in Wayanad seat because Left has fielded Annie Raja, wife of veteran leader D Raja, on Wayanad seat, while BJP has fielded its state president K. Surendran has been fielded into the political arena.

Before coming to Wayanad today, Rahul Gandhi's helicopter was suddenly checked in Tamil Nadu.
