He said that we did not get independence from the British only to become a colony of RSS ideology. He said that Congress wants to listen to Indians, love and respect their beliefs, language, religion and culture.

Rahul Gandhi said that in today's time the main fight is against the ideology of RSS. BJP people, the Prime Minister, say that one nation, one people, one language, one leader… He said that language is not something that can be imposed on anyone. Language is something that comes from within a person, from his heart.

Rahul Gandhi is expected to hold a meeting with the Bishop of Mananvatwadi, which is important from the political point of view in view of the recent controversy over the screening of the film The Kerala Story by some churches.
