India’s Airstrike Causes Devastation in Pakistan:90 Terrorists Killed, Several Terror Camps Destroyed
The Indian military conducted a major operation against terrorism by entering Pakistan.According to reports, around 25-30 terrorists were killed in Bahawalpur and Muridke, the two most significant locations.
Indian agencies are gradually confirming the deaths of terrorists in other camps. The Indian Army targeted four locations in Pakistan and five in PoK. The operation was executed late Tuesday night around 1:30 AM.
The three Indian armed forces carried out a joint operation, launching airstrikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). The airstrikes targeted nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan.
Based on intelligence inputs, the strikes targeted four camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, three of Lashkar-e-Taiba, and two of Hizbul Mujahideen.
A large number of ambulances were seen transporting the injured to hospitals. Images from Muridke in Pakistan’s Punjab province, which surfaced on Wednesday morning, show damaged buildings.
The Indian government stated, “This operation targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which was being used to plan attacks on India.” Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called India’s airstrike a “cowardly act.”
Following the airstrikes, a high alert was issued at all airbases in Haryana and Punjab. All border districts of Punjab adjoining Pakistan have been put on high alert. Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Pathankot district administration is also on alert. The Deputy Commissioner has ordered the closure of all schools for the next 72 hours.
