LUCKNOW:Amid the controversy over the anti-Covid vaccine 'Covishield', Samajwadi Party's national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav on Tuesday alleged that BJP took commission in the Covid vaccine and substandard and expensive medicines were given to the public. Shivpal Yadav said, “They (BJP) have also taken commission in the vaccine. The whole story has been exposed that low quality vaccines and medicines were given to the people. Now everyone knows this.”

When asked about the vaccine, SP candidate from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav said, “Akhilesh ji (SP President) had already said that we will not get this vaccine because till then it had not been tested further. But, at present, cases of heart attacks have increased in cities and villages, people are suddenly suffering from serious diseases.'' Dimple alleged that a donation of Rs 200-300 crore was taken from the makers of Covishield and they were given permission to vaccinate and people were forcefully vaccinated.
