Elon Musk's satellite internet service providing company Starlink is going to enter India soon. Earlier the company had been banned for starting services without a license. But this time Elon Musk is preparing to launch Starlink service after getting approval from all government ministries. This may increase the troubles for Jio and Airtel, because both Airtel and Jio are involved in the race for satellite internet. Airtel is launching the satellite service in partnership with One Web. Jio is partnering with Luxembourg company SES for satellite service.

It is being claimed that the top speed of Starlink satellite internet service can be 1.5 to 2Gbps. As the name suggests, it is a satellite service. In such a situation, there will be no need of mobile tower for this. This will help in providing internet easily to remote areas of the country. Starlink is operational in more than 40 countries. Elon Musk's Starling service comes with a Wi-Fi router, power supply, cable and a mounting tripod. This router remains connected to the satellite.

Starlink started unlicensed service in the year 2021. Also, security money was deposited from the customers as pre-order before the start of the service. But after not getting approval from the Indian government, Elon Musk had to stop the project. Besides, the money of Indian customers also had to be returned.
