Gaza death toll from Israeli attacks touches 17,177

GAZA STRIP: The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has touched to 17,177 since Oct.7,according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.

According to reports,around 70% of the victims are children and women.

About 46,000 other people were injured in the Israeli onslaught on the blockaded Palestinian territory,according to reports.

Israel resumed its military offensive on the Gaza Strip on Dec. 1 after the end of a weeklong humanitarian pause with Hamas.

Israel launched a massive military campaign against the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7 during which 1,200 Israelis were killed, according to official figures.
