IndiGo Crisis : Large Number of Flights Cancelled Again Today, Passengers Facing Severe Hardship

Delhi Airport Authority stated that 234 flights were cancelled in total on Monday. Most of these cancellations were of IndiGo flights.Operations were also affected at Mumbai Airport, where 9 flights were cancelled.

The cancelled routes from Mumbai included Chandigarh, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, and Darbhanga.From Delhi, flights to Varanasi, Indore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Jammu were cancelled, leading to long queues and ticket cancellation issues in these cities as well.

The Airport Authority is a statement said, “Operations Normal, But Flight Schedules Can Change Anytime”.

Delhi Airport authorities said,“Operations at Delhi Airport are running smoothly. However, some flights may be cancelled or rescheduled. Our ground team is continuously working for passenger convenience. Passengers are requested to necessarily check their flight status with the airline.”

The matter of disruptions in flight services for the past six consecutive days has now reached the regulator.

The notice had asked the airline what steps it is taking to prevent continuous inconvenience to passengers and why such a major operational disruption has occurred.Problems Keep Mounting

In the past week, a large number of IndiGo flights have either been cancelled or severely delayed.

The direct impact on passengers includes, Missed connecting flights  ,Wasted hotel bookings 

Important work getting disrupted ,Long queues and increased inconvenience at airports.

Although the airline has attempted to reschedule several flights, passengers complain that they are not receiving timely and accurate information.

IndiGo has not yet provided any clear timeline for when operations will return to full normalcy.Some clarity is expected after DGCA’s actions and the airline’s response.
