Islamabad Talks End Without Result : JD Vance Says America Returns Without Any Agreement

(Fast Mail):-- The high-level talks between the United States and Iran, which continued for 21 long hours in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, have ended without any result.US Vice President JD Vance clearly stated in a press conference:

“Unfortunately, we could not reach any agreement. I think this is worse news for Iran than for America. We have not made any deal. They chose the option of not accepting our terms.”

Vance also said that America had come to the talks with an open mind, but is now returning without any agreement.21 Hours of Talks, But No Consensus Reached

Regarding the high-level talks held in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, Vance said:“We have been working on this for the past 21 hours and had several substantive discussions with the Iranians…This is the good news. But the bad news is that we could not reach any agreement.”

He reiterated that America made every possible effort from its side, but in the end, no consensus could be reached.

 Deadlock Over the Nuclear Issue

The biggest point of contention in these talks was Iran’s nuclear program. Vance said that America had clearly stated its “red lines” and also explained on which issues an agreement was possible and on which it was not.

He said that America had put forward its “final and best offer,” but Iran did not accept it. America’s clear position was that it needs a guarantee that Iran will never attempt to build nuclear weapons in the future.Praise for Pakistan’s Role

Vance praised Pakistan’s role in the talks and said:“Whatever shortcomings there were in the talks, they were not because of the Pakistanis. They did an excellent job and made every effort to bridge the gap between us and the Iranians.”

He clarified that Pakistan was not responsible for the failure of the talks; rather, it was the result of both sides failing to reach agreement on the terms.JD Vance Leaves for America with His Team
