Mika Singh reached the court after 17 years to cancel the case of forcibly 'kissing'
Mumbai, Apr 11, (Fast Mail News):-- The 2006 controversy between Bollywood singer Mika Singh and Rakhi Sawant has once again hit the headlines. Singer Mika Singh has moved the Bombay High Court to quash his molestation complaint lodged by Rakhi Sawant. He now wants to end the 17-year-old case. Rakhi alleged that Mika forcibly kissed her.
Mika's lawyer says that Singer and Rakhi have settled the matter with mutual consent, so the matter should now be taken out of court. In the year 2006, Mika Singh kissed Rakhi Sawant in front of everyone at her birthday party without her consent. Mika Singh appeared in the Mumbai High Court. Mika's lawyer said that both have made a mutual settlement, so now want to cancel the case.
On the other hand, Rakhi's counsel also told the court that the affidavit of consent to quash the FIR had arrived, but it had gone missing in the registry department of the High Court, so it could not be traced. The court then directed him to file a fresh affidavit by next week. Singer Mika Singh's lawyer Falguni Brahmabhat told the court that this case is going on for the last 17 years. A charge sheet has been filed against Mika Singh, but the charges are yet to be finalised. Mika Singh and Rakhi Sawant have forgotten the case, so the case should be dismissed.
It is noteworthy that in the year 2006, Mika Singh kissed Rakhi Sawant at her birthday party without her consent. After that Rakhi Sawant had filed a case against him. He was later arrested on molestation charges and later released on bail.
