Odisha congress blasts Naveen for ‘failing law and order’ situation in 24 year government
BHUBANESWAR: With the increasing cases of women atrocities,rape,dacoity and political violence in the state ,the law and order situation have been deteriorated in last 24 years of Naveen Patnaik.The Pradesh Congress, Odisha in a press meet held at party office here alleged that every day crimes on women, rape, robbery, political violence are increasing, but the police fail to nab the criminals.
PCC Spokesperson Nisikanta Mishra has alleged that the state government has failed to control various crime. “Various crimes are occurred at the behest of the leaders and workers of the ruling party, but the administration is turning a blind eye to all this”,he alleged.
Cases like Pipili gang rape,Itishree, Madhabilata, Kunduli, Smitarani, Mamita Meher, Pari In all these issues the government has completely failed to proivide justice to the victim’s family. The dead body of Ayush Hospital is still unfound. All these incidents are raising questions about the state government's loyalty," PCC spokesperson Nishikant Mishra said in a press conference held at the state Congress office.
As the head of the home department, he has become just a silent spectator about the incident so far. The chief minister, who cannot protect his cabinet colleagues, is raising questions about how he will protect the 4.5 crore people of the state. All these incidents show the helplessness of the Chief Minister, said Mr. Mishra.
