Odisha need double engine government: Pradhan

Odisha will prosper - 'If double engine government'  is formed,said the Union Education and Skill development minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Pradhan was addressing a huge public meeting at Athamallick marking the 9th year  completion of Modi  government and  ‘Garibi kalyan’ meeting. Pradhan said,the massive gathering at Athamallick shows how the people of Odisha support Modi government and his pro-poor policies.

He said the aim of the Modi government is the welfare of the poor  as he had initiated a number of pro-poor programmes across the nation.Sabka sath sabka Bikash is the mantra of the Modi government on which Odisha and India is getting progress.India’s fame is flourishing at international arena also, he added.

 

 Pradhan said the gathering that the prosperity of the country and economy reached new high under the leadership of prime Minister Modi who has initiated a variety pro-poor policies in the country. The minister felt elated by coming to Athamallick.

The central minister listed various grants available to the state by centre to the tune of lakhs of crores but it is being mis-used at the state.He said under garibi kalian Yoyana centre provides rice,house  and other necessities for the poor. But the state government is not properly implementing it.He regretted that genuine people are not getting Pradhan mantra Awas Yoyana in the state.Stating that the inauguration ceremony of new parliament building is a momentous occasion.The minister said that there may be differences in a democracy terming the boycott as unfortunate.He appealed opposition leaders to end the boycott and join the inauguration of parliament building.

Pradhan finally predicted that Narendra Modi will again be the prime minister in 2024 elections. Among others Ex-MP Rudra Narayan Pani,ex-state minister Sanjeeb Sahoo,district BJP President Dileswar Pradhan,Bhagirathi Pradhan among others present on the occasion.
