Rajasthan government announces three new districts

 JAIPUR:Before the assembly elections, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday announced three new districts Malpura in Tonk district and Sujangarh in Churu district. Apart from these, it has also been announced to make Kuchaman, which falls in Didwana district, a separate district. Now Rajasthan has become a state with a total of 53 districts.

CM Gehlot tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote, 'As per the demand of the public and the recommendation of the high level committee, three more new districts will be created in Rajasthan. First Malpura, second Sujangarh and third Kuchaman City. Now Rajasthan will have 53 districts.

In future also, problems like demarcation etc. will continue to be resolved as per the recommendations of the high level committee. Let us tell you that the movement to create a district in Malpura was going on for the last 6 months. People were sitting on strike there. There is a wave of happiness among the people of Malpura after the announcement of CM.

 

 

 Earlier in the month of August, Rajasthan government had announced the creation of 19 new districts. According to the notification, the new districts in Rajasthan include Anupgarh, Gangapur City, Kotputli, Balotra, Jaipur City, Khairthal, Beawar, Jaipur Rural, Neemkathana, Deeng, Jodhpur City, Phalodi, Didwana, Jodhpur Rural, Salumber, Dudu, Kekri, Sanchore and Shahpura is included. Apart from this, three new divisions have been created in Rajasthan, which include Banswara, Pali and Sikar.

The government had appointed IAS and IPS officers as Officer on Special Duty(OSD) in the new districts. As soon as the notification of new districts was issued, his post became Collector and SP. Collector, SP and district level offices will open here,he said.
