Sukhoi-30, Mirage 2000 aircraft crashes in Madhya Pradesh's Morena,plane crash in Bharatpur too

NEW DELHI:Saturday turned out to be a bad day for the Air Force as two of its Air Force planes crashed in Madhya Pradesh's Morena on Saturday. According to Indian Air Force sources, these two aircraft are Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000, which were taking off from Morena for an exercise, collided, but defense sources say that this cannot be said for sure yet.

Indian Airforce sources said that it will be clear from the Court of Inquiry whether the two planes collided in the air or not. According to sources, the Sukhoi-30 had two pilots while the Mirage-2000 had one pilot.

DM of Morena has informed that two pilots have been rescued from near the accident site. Both these pilots are injured, they are being shifted to Gwalior. A search operation has been launched for the third pilot. Administration and defense teams are present at the scene.

The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is in touch with CDS General Anil Chauhan and Air Force Chief VR Chaudhary on the mishap.The Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was informed about the accident by the Air Chief. The Defence Minister reportedly asked him about the Air Force pilots.

In another incident, a fighter jet of the Air Force, has been crashed near Pingora railway station in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. Local people said that the plane caught fire in the air. A crowd has gathered at the scene after the plane crash. Police and administration teams are also present on the spot.
