Two Children of Patna AIIMS Nurse Burned Alive at Home, Congress Says 'Gundaraj Continues!'
According to a police officer, the cause of the incident is still unknown, and an investigation is underway.
Police reported receiving information on Thursday morning that two children were found dead in their home in Janipur. The bed on which their bodies were found was also burned. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and the police are recording statements from the children’s parents.
The mother of the deceased children works as a security guard at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna.
He alleged, “Our children were sleeping after returning from school when some miscreants entered the house and burned them alive. When we reached home, we found the charred bodies of both children on a burning bed. We immediately informed the police, but even hours later, neither the forensic team nor the dog squad had arrived.”
The family and villagers claim that this was not an ordinary accident but a planned conspiracy. The incident has sparked tension in the village, with enraged locals resorting to arson and blocking roads in protest.
Meanwhile,the Congress party has targeted the Nitish Kumar-led government over the incident. In a post on X, Congress wrote, “Gundaraj continues in Bihar! Two innocent children of an AIIMS nurse were burned alive inside their home.”
