'The Election System in the Country is Dead',Says Rahul Gandhi
Gandhi claimed to possess documents and evidence proving how the Lok Sabha elections in India were manipulated.
He stated, “We have worked tirelessly for six months to gather evidence that will prove the Election Commission, as an institution, no longer exists in this country. It has completely collapsed.”
Rahul Gandhi alleged that in one Lok Sabha constituency, 6.5 lakh votes were cast, of which 1.5 lakh were fake.
He said that in the coming days, he would prove to the entire country how elections in India can be "rigged."
Gandhi revealed that he had doubts about India’s electoral system since 2014. He said, “I started suspecting during the Gujarat Assembly elections. It seemed strange that Congress didn’t win a single seat in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Whenever we raised questions, people asked, ‘Where’s the proof?’”

Rahul Gandhi claimed that between the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, 1 crore new voters were added in Maharashtra, and the majority of their votes went to the BJP.
He argued that this unusual increase points to electoral irregularities.
Gandhi said, “The country’s Prime Minister is in power with a very narrow majority. If just 15 seats were rigged, he would not be the Prime Minister.”
He expressed concern over the state of Indian democracy, stating that the country’s electoral system is now dead.
In his address, Rahul Gandhi also mentioned the Rafale deal. He said, “We had a document that clearly stated the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Security Advisor (NSA) interfered in the Rafale deal, causing harm. Such a document could have brought down any government in another country, but nothing happened here. You all know where that document went and how it was buried.”
Gandhi hinted that India’s constitutional institutions have weakened, and transparency in everything from elections to defence deals has vanished.
