Those angry celebrations are a thing of the past – Virat Kohli

New Delhi, Oct 1, (Fast Mail News):-- We are all aware of the fact that Virat Kohli has always been synonymous with a range of emotions and every time he has led the Indian side to glory, we have seen him emoting without any reserve, fuelling wild celebrations in the crowd as well. Those raw emotions, though, are just a reflection of the fact that he wears his heart on his sleeves.

Truth be told, Virat celebrates every wicket with almost similar passion and joy but the expressions have turned a lot more benign. Well, what exactly was the change? Every individual goes through sudden changes with time and Virat is no exception to this age-old dogma.

Talking to ICC, Virat said, “The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. Those angry celebrations are a thing of the past. I have had many suggestions, lots of advice has come my way; people were telling me I was doing this wrong, that wrong.”

He further added, “I picked out all the videos from the best time I had, same initial movement, same approach towards the ball and it was just what was happening inside my head, I wasn't able to explain it to anyone.”

Virat will play a crucial part for the Indian cricket team as they begin their World Cup campaign on 8th October, with a blockbuster clash against Australia.
