TMC MP Mahua Moitra marries BJD leader Pinaki Mishra abroad

(Fast Mail):--Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra got married in Germany. She married former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Pinaki Mishra in a private ceremony.

Mahua married Pinaki on May 3. Pinaki has been an MP four times from Biju Janata Dal. He was first elected MP in 1996. After this, he was an MP from 2009 to 2019.

In the viral picture of Mahua and Pinaki's wedding, both can be seen holding each other's hands. During this, Mahua is wearing a gold and light pink colored saree. However, no official statement has come from both of them regarding the marriage.

Born on 12 October 1974 in Assam, Mahua started her career as an investment banker. She joined Mamata Banerjee's TMC in 2010. Moitra was elected MP for the first time in 2019. After this, she was also elected MP in 2024.

Popular for her fiery and powerful speeches of TMC, Mahua is a two-time MP from Krishnanagar in Bengal.

Mahua Moitra's husband Pinaki Mishra is a stalwart leader of BJD. He was born in 1959. He was elected as an MP in 1996. He defeated the then Union Minister Braj Kishore Tripathi.

Pinaki is a senior advocate of the Supreme Court. He has a long political and legal career of almost three decades. He has also been a member of many high profile committees.
