Two killed,30 injured after tourist bus falls off bridge in Dhenkanal

DHENKANAL: At least 2 passengers have been  killed and 30 persons injured,five of them critical after a tourist bus fell off a bridge built by South Rengali canal on the national Highway-55 this morning.All the injured have been admitted at Dhenkanal district head quarter hospital.15 injured have been shifted to SCB medical College,Cuttack,according to reports.

 

 According to reports, a tourist bus,Nila Madhab carrying 50 passengers from Kendrapara Ichhapur area while was returning from Balangir after worshipping at Nrusinghanath Mandira there falls off a bridge near Panchabati on NH-55 in Dhenkanal district. All the passengers belong to Ichhapur area of Kendrapara district.The deceased have been identified as RenubalaJena and Bijay laxmi Chandra Swain  of ichhapur village in kendrapara district.

Police have rushed to the spot and investigating into the matter.
