ADJ-6 bodyguard commits suicide in Bihar's Motihari police line

Motihari, Apr 30, (Fast Mail News):-- A bodyguard of ADJ-6 in the police line of East Champaran district in Bihar committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his own service revolver at 2 am on Saturday.

His fellow policemen said that he returned from duty on Saturday evening to the barrack and went to sleep after having dinner. Suddenly the soldier committed suicide in the night. After which the colleagues hurriedly took him to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead.

Police Line DSP Ramesh Kumar said on Sunday that the deceased constable Shambhu Kumar was the bodyguard of ADJ-6. No clear information has been found about the reason for this suicide. But the police team is engaged in the investigation. The deceased jawan has been identified as Shambhu Prasad, a resident of Nepura village under Silav police station area of Nalanda district. Information about this death has also been given to the family members.

The post-mortem of the deceased has been done on the orders of the SP. Sadar DSP told that the deceased constable Shambhu Prasad had recently returned to the police line after returning from a month's leave. The suicide is being investigated from many angles.
