Elon Musk suggests floating new political party amid rift between Trump

WASHINGTON: Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk may soon form a new political party and has also given the name hinting through his X as 'The America Party' in his post. Although Musk did not clearly say that he will form a party, but he made many such posts one after the other, which has heated up the market of speculation.

The timing of this announcement is also very important. Actually, the bitterness between Elon Musk and his old political partner and former US President Donald Trump is very much in discussion these days. Musk and Trump are very vocal against each other on this social media and this has brought a new turn in American politics, which can play a decisive role in the upcoming elections.

Musk asked through a poll on X whether a new political party is needed in America? Musk says that 80 per cent of the users answered 'yes' in this poll.

A user posted a picture and wrote America Party. In response to this, Musk said, 'The name America Party sounds very nice. The party that really represents America!' After this, he made another post in which it was only written - 'The America Party.'

The strong relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump has suddenly soured when Musk participated in Trump's cabinet meetings while he was President and he was even seen standing behind him in Trump's inauguration ceremony.

He was also appointed the head of the DOGE department. Musk also campaigned for Trump. But now, this friendship has been cracked after Musk recently resigned from the DOGE department and since then he has been constantly attacking Trump.

He also said that if he had not supported Trump, he would have lost the election. On the other hand, Donald Trump has threatened that he will end the subsidies and government contracts given to Musk.
