Internet suspended in 5 Manipur districts, situation worsens after Meitei leader’s arrest

IMPHAL:Internet and mobile data services have been suspended for five days in five districts of Manipur—Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, and Kakching—starting from 11:45 PM on Saturday.

This decision was taken in response to the tense situation following the arrest of a leader from the Meitei community’s Arambai Tenggol outfit.
