'Double Engine' Government Only Emitting Smoke : Sachin Pilot

(Fast Mail):-- Congress National General Secretary Sachin Pilot, on Friday, took a dig at the Rajasthan government's 18-month tenure, stating that the 'double engine' government's engine is only emitting smoke and failing to deliver. He remarked that the state is dominated by officials, and work is being done arbitrarily.

Speaking to the media in Tonk in response to a question, Pilot said, "The entire country has realized that the BJP's 'double engine' government's engine is only emitting smoke, not succeeding."

The term 'double engine' refers to the same party ruling both at the center and in the state.

He added, "Looking at the government's 18-month tenure, it seems they are unable to even oversee the work we had initiated, approved, and completed."

Pilot further stated, "It is very unfortunate that the government's entire focus is on pleasing their masters in Delhi. The entire government is caught up in a power struggle to save its position. Officials are dominant, and work is being done arbitrarily. Those in high positions of power are not being heard."

He emphasized that the public has full faith in Congress, and in the coming times, the party will receive their blessings. According to a statement, Pilot held a meeting with departmental officials in Tonk and directed them to address issues related to electricity, drinking water, and other public concerns.
