Gaurav Vallabh joins Bharatiya Janata Party after resigning from Congress Party
He said,”I can neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse the wealth creators of the country in the morning and evening. Therefore, I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of the Congress Party”.
In his resignation letter sent to Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Gaurav Vallabh wrote that 'I am emotional and heartbroken. I want to say, write and tell a lot. But my values forbid me from saying anything like that. Still, I am putting my views before you today, because I feel that hiding the truth is also a crime. In such a situation, I do not want to be a part of the crime.
Expressing his uneasiness over the party's recent stand, he said, Sir, I am a finance professor. Upon joining the Congress Party, I was appointed as the national spokesperson. I have worked to effectively convey the party's stand on various issues to the people. However, I am feeling uneasy about the party's stance recently.
Gaurav Vallabh further said that when I joined the Congress Party, I believed that Congress was the oldest party in the country. Here the ideas of young and intellectual people are valued, but in the last few years I have realized that the current form of the party is not able to adjust itself with the youth with new ideas.
42 year old Gaurav Vallabh is a resident of Pipar village of Jodhpur district. After primary education in Pipar, Gaurav received higher education from Bangar College, Pali. After this, he took graduation degree from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer and did PhD from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.
Gaurav Vallabh was a brilliant student during his education. During his college days, he used to participate in all kinds of competitions and came first. Later Gaurav became a professor at XLRI College, Jamshedpur. Gaurav Vallabh is well versed in economy.
He entered politics by joining Congress. Due to his strong oratory and knowledge of reasoning, he was made the national spokesperson of the party. In the 2019 assembly elections, he contested on Congress ticket against the then Chief Minister Raghuvar Das from Jamshedpur East seat. However he could not win the election.
