NEET Paper Leak: Rahul Gandhi Demands Removal Of Dharmendra Pradhan Immediately
Questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the issue, he said that Dharmendra Pradhan should be removed right now, or the Prime Minister should take responsibility himself. He also accused the government of failing to protect the future of lakhs of students.
While launching a sharp attack on the Central Government, Rahul Gandhi alleged that nearly 22 lakh NEET aspirants have been cheated.
He raised questions over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the matter.
In a post on X, he wrote: "22 lakh NEET students have been cheated. But PM Modi is not saying even a single word. Remove Dharmendra Pradhan immediately or take responsibility yourself. PM Modi should sack Dharmendra Pradhan right now."
Rahul Gandhi also released a video statement in which he claimed that the NEET question paper had been leaked two days before the exam.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that there is a nexus between the RSS, BJP, and people appointed in educational institutions.
He claimed that this system is being used to earn profits at the cost of students' futures. He accused the "cartel" of RSS, BJP, and the people they have placed in universities of destroying India's education system.
The Congress leader also attacked the process of appointing Vice-Chancellors in universities. He alleged that ideological affiliation has now replaced merit and academic competence. He said the entire country knows that if someone wants to become a Vice-Chancellor, knowledge or experience no longer matters. If a person is linked to the RSS, they can become Vice-Chancellor. If they are not from the RSS, they cannot.
Referring to the repeated incidents of question paper leaks across the country, he claimed that such failures have occurred at least 80 times, ruining the future of around two crore youth.
Demanding accountability, Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Modi should immediately remove the Education Minister and ensure strict punishment for those responsible for the paper leak.
