Jan Shatabdi Express' wheel caught fire due to 'brake binding' in Bihar's Jamui

Patna, Apr 6, (Fast Mail News):-- A major train accident was averted in Jamui district of Bihar. In Jamui on Thursday morning, a wheel of Jan Shatabdi Express caught fire due to 'brake binding'. There is no news of any loss of life or property due to the fire.

Actually, Jan Shatabdi Express was going to Howrah. Meanwhile, a fire broke out in the wheel of sleeper bogie number 226404/23D-16 between Bhalui and Kunder. This created panic among the passengers. The incident took place near pole number 399/24. After this the technical team was called and the train was dispatched.

Jamui station master Nitish Kumar told that the fire broke out due to 'brake binding' in Janshatabdi Express. 'Brake binding' is a technical problem in which the brakes get jammed. It produces friction, fire and smoke.
