Khalistan Commando Force Chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar shot dead in Lahore, wanted in India
Islamabad, May 6, (Fast Mail News):-- Khalistan Commando Force chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar alias Malik Sardar Singh has been killed. He was allegedly shot dead on Saturday morning in Lahore, Pakistan. Kanwar Pal Singh, leader of the separatist organization Dal Khalsa, confirmed the death of Paramjit Singh Panjwar in the attack. Kanwar Pal said that according to information he was on his morning walk when two gunmen shot him.
Born in 1960 in Panjwar village of Tarn Taran, Paramjit Singh Panjwar was the chief of KCF. It is listed as a terrorist organization under UAPA. He lived in Lahore, Pakistan and was working from there.
Paramjit Singh Panjwar considered himself a radical Khalistani. He constantly demanded a separate Sikh country from Indian and Pakistan's Punjab. Paramjit Singh Panjwar was a wanted terrorist who led a terrorist organization called Khalistan Commando Force (KCF). He took charge of KCF after Indian security forces eliminated Labh Singh, former head of KCF and cousin of Paramjeet.
Paramjit Singh Panjwar was a key conspirator in the 2010 twin bomb blasts in Patiala and Ambala cities. He was also accused as a conspirator in the 2009 murder of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat chief Rulda Singh. Rashtriya Sikh Sangat is considered to be a unit of RSS. In recent times, Paramjeet was allegedly involved in drug and arms smuggling through unmanned drones in Indian Punjab.
On the other hand, according to Indian security agencies, the bomb blast that took place near the airport office in Chandigarh on June 30, 1999, was also done by Paramjit Singh. Four people were injured in the blast near the Chandigarh airport office, while several vehicles were damaged. A bomb was kept in the trunk of the scooter. The Ministry of Home Affairs released a list of 9 terrorists in 2020, in which the name of Paramjit Singh was also included.
