Khalistan supporters once again reached the Indian Embassy in San Francisco, security increased

Washington, Mar 23, (Fast Mail News):-- Khalistan supporters once again reached the Indian Embassy in San Francisco, USA. The police did not allow them to proceed towards the embassy. The police has increased the security of the embassy and barricaded it here.

 

In India, action is going on against Jathedar Amritpal Singh of Waris Punjab De Sanghatana. Distressed by this, Khalistan supporters attacked Indian embassies in Britain and Australia. The Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA was attacked by some Khalistan supporters on Sunday. The protesters waved Khalistani flags outside the building. There was no security outside the embassy then.

 

After which the Indian Foreign Ministry had expressed its displeasure in front of the US government. The US government has now swung into action. The government has beefed up security outside the Indian Consulate in San Francisco by deploying heavy security forces. Police has barricaded all around the embassy. On Wednesday, once again some Khalistan supporters reached the embassy, when the police did not allow them to move ahead of the barricading.

 

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby's statement came after Khalistani supporters attacked the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. He had said that the vandalism at the Indian consulate in San Francisco was "absolutely unacceptable" and was condemned by the US. Leaders of the Sikh community living in America have also protested against this. Sikh leaders condemned these incidents and said that the Khalistani movement was being exaggerated.

 

Washington-based Sikh leader Jasdeep Singh has condemned any violence outside the Indian embassy in San Francisco or desecration of the Indian flag in London, saying everyone has a right to protest but it should be peaceful and there should be no violence or desecration. There should be no sabotage. He said that whatever you are seeing in the media that the Khalistan movement is going on in America and Canada, all that is being exaggerated. There are over one million Sikhs living in North America and only 50 of them showed up to protest outside the Indian embassy.
